I once walked twenty miles to see the great gold Buddha.
Footsore and hungry, I sat down at his feet.
"The inward seeking man finds riches.
The outward seeking man finds gold."
Said the great gold Buddha.
I thought long and hard... "I make what I spend."
I said modestly, so as not to offend the great gold Buddha.
"Life's illusions are all that you will have in the end."
Replied the great gold Buddha. I went home.
Later I met a rich tycoon. "I eat gold bullion for breakfast!"
Said he. I wondered about his digestion, and decided to remain free.
Later I met a great wind. "I eat Tycoons for breakfast!" Said the Typhoon.
"I eat Typhoons for breakfast!" Said I.
And so it goes... Industrialists, rich flatulent old men, young ladies wearing
tight hoses; all walk around with bent noses. I say, "Has anyone ever
considered how deceptive are the roses?"
Has anyone ever answered: "Well, I don't care! and I thank God for those
Roses! hooooha!
